A new chapter is taking shape here at Western Hills, as a refreshed Pete Rose “Hit King” sign was installed last week, thanks to a donation from Signarama in nearby Lawrenceburg, IN. For many in the Price Hill community, the update is more than just a visual improvement; it’s a meaningful nod to local pride and baseball history.
The original sign, which pays tribute to Pete Rose’s record-breaking career as Major League Baseball’s all-time hits leader, has long stood as a point of recognition for those riding down Ferguson Rd. Over time, however, weather and age have taken their toll, leaving the sign in need of restoration and Signarama stepped in to give it new life!
The updated sign reflects a strong connection to the region and an understanding of what Pete Rose represents to us all in Cincinnati’s west side neighborhoods. Western Hills has deep ties to Rose’s legacy, and the sign serves as a symbol of that relationship between Pete and the community that proudly claims him.
Western Hills Athletics extends a huge thank you to Signarama and those involved in advocating for this new signage!
Go Mustangs!
